Suunto Clipper

I love the ease of use of this compass as well as the reliability of it pointing north. Unfortunately I had to order another as the floating compass part completely came out one time while out hunting. Maybe better glue? Fortunately I was in a semi familiar area and did not get lost. It is by far more accurate than some of the cheap stuff out there.

Superb compass but it has to be totally level to spin freely I suppose that's the downside of being oil filled. Lovely build quality and tiny.

I dropped it and the compass inside fell out of the black clip enclosure. It's possible to snap it back together. Now I don't use the clip enclosure just use it as a high quality button compass.Compared to other button compasses, it points to north much faster and is more stable.

Very good little compass, but be aware this version "SH" is for the southern hemisphere, so the needle is weighted incorrectly for the northern part of the world.It will still work, but the needle will drag on the card unless you hold it at right angle.As for the compasss, it's great. Clips securely on to whatever you want it to, and smooth.Don't clip it to a watch strap though, your metal in your watch will throw it off.If you've found this review helpful, please let me know by clicking the button below.
