François D’Haene is one of the most accomplished ultra-trail runners in the world. Known for his calm racing style, mountain experience, and long-distance consistency, he has built a career around some of the toughest endurance races on earth.

A four-time UTMB winner, François represents the core of Suunto’s trail running identity: long days in the mountains, reliable data, route confidence, and performance built through patience. Beyond racing, he is also known for his life as a winemaker, father, and mountain athlete — bringing a grounded, human side to elite endurance sport.
