Says "bearing" but azimuth only.

Says "bearing" but azimuth only more pictures looking inside the sight would have been helpful. I use the metal SUNNTO all the time. working on the EICW and didn't want to take a +- $250.00 compass in the Atlantic.

Compass

Comes in handy in a pinch, I am a Land Surveyor and use a compass almost daily. I have several of these that are metal but a couple of them have developed large air bubbles and apparently you can't get ahold of anyone to fix them so this is a cheaper alternative.

Perfect for Survey Work

I love this compass and use it every day for work. It's easy to read and use, though dirt/debris does get stuck in the eyepiece sometime. It's easy to clean out. Like most compasses, it will gradually start to become a degree or two off after several years, but nothing you can do about that. Highly recommend this sighting compass!
