1. Are the headphones waterproof? Can they be used in the shower or sauna?

Spark headphones meet the IP55 waterproof rating standard - protecting against rain, sweat and dust. Spark is not suitable for use in hot showers, sauna, steam rooms, or any enivronment where water vapor may enter the headphones.

2. Why do the headphones turn off automatically?

When the Bluetooth connection between the headphones and the playback device is disconnected, Suunto Spark automatically enters standby mode to save power. Press any button to quickly reconnect to the Bluetooth device when in standby mode. It will automatically shut down to save power if it remains in standby for over ten minutes.

3. Can wearing the headphones for a long time cause adverse reactions?

Although our headphones are more gentle on the ear compared to traditional headphones, it is still not recommended to use them at high volumes for long periods, as excessive volume can damage hearing.

4. Is the sound quality the same on Android and iOS devices?

The operating system of the playback device does not affect sound quality.

5. How to perform a software update?

Software updates bring important optimizations. The headphones must remain connected to the Suunto App during the update. Please ensure a stable network connection while the update package is downloading. Before installing the update, ensure the headphone battery is at least 20% charged. When an update is ready, open the "My Headphones" page in the Suunto App, and an update option will pop up. Keep the headphones connected to the phone during the update. After completion, the headphones will restart automatically. You can check the software version in the "My Headphones" page of the Suunto App.

6. How to reset the headphones / delete pairing records / restore factory settings?

If you wish to delete all settings on the Suunto Spark, you can reset the product. Place both earbuds in the charging case, press and hold the charging case button for 10 seconds until the indicator light flashes orange three times (once per second), then release the button. After resetting, all Bluetooth pairing records on the headphones will be deleted. You will need to re-pair the headphones to use them again after resetting the device.

7. Is there a difference in power / battery life between the left and right Suunto Spark earbuds?

No difference in power. Yes, there is a slight different in battery life. During simultaneous use, the battery life of the secondary earbud will be slightly longer than that of the primary earbud.

8. Why does the headphone sound stutter in certain environments (train stations, subway stations, substations, etc.)?

Strong interference environments can affect the headphone's radio frequency performance, causing stuttering. This is a common issue with Bluetooth products and is normal. In environments with low interference like offices, cafes, or homes, stuttering should not occur.

1. What devices can Suunto Spark headphones connect to?

Suunto Spark headphones connect via Bluetooth to devices that support Bluetooth audio playback, such as: smartphones, tablets, laptops and computers.

2. Can they connect to a watch?

Yes, if the watch supports Bluetooth audio output. Some watches can play music directly to headphones. Others act only as receiving devices and cannot connect.

3. Can they connect to a computer?

Yes. Suunto Spark headphones can connect to any computer with Bluetooth, including Windows PCs and Macs

4. How to enter Bluetooth pairing mode?

Open the case lid, press the case button for 2 seconds. The indicator will flash white, indicating the product is ready for pairing.

5. Why can't I pair via Bluetooth / find the Bluetooth device? Why does pairing fail?

If your headphones cannot connect to your phone, please troubleshoot as follows:

1. Ensure both headphones and phone have sufficient battery. Charge if needed. Suunto Spark cannot connect when powered off. They power off automatically when charging. After charging, manually power on the headphones to connect.

2. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both and the headphones aren't connected to another device.

3. Keep the distance between Spark and your phone less than 10 meters, and away from interfering devices (Wi-Fi routers, microwaves, etc.) and obstacles.

4. On the phone's Bluetooth settings, delete the previous headphone pairing record, then re-pair.

5. Check if the Bluetooth versions are compatible. If not, use a suitable device.

6. If this does not resolve the situation, the Bluetooth module in the headphones or phone may be faulty, we recommend contacting after-sales service.

6. What is the maximum connection distance between Spark headphones and your phone?

In an unobstructed open environment, it can exceed 10 meters without affecting functions or music playback.

7. How do I disconnect Bluetooth or disconnect from my phone?

You can disconnect the headphones in several ways:-Tap “Disconnect” in the Bluetooth settings of the paired device.-Remove/delete the headphones from the device’s Bluetooth list.-Turn off or restart Bluetooth on the phone.-Power off the headphones.

8. Under what circumstances might disconnection or latency occur?

Audio latency may vary depending on the phone, Bluetooth codec, and environment. True wireless Bluetooth also introduces a small amount of natural latency, which does not affect music or calls.

Nearby Wi-Fi routers or Bluetooth devices may cause stuttering or disconnection.

The typical unobstructed range is up to 10 m; exceeding this distance or adding obstacles may lead to connection drops.

9. Why is there a volume difference between devices?

Some phones with older Bluetooth versions may not synchronize the volume between the phone and the headphones. As a result, the phone and the headphones may have separate volume controls, which can cause one device to be loud while the other remains low.

To synchronize them, check your phone settings for “Absolute Volume” or “Headphone Volume Sync.”-iPhone: enabled by default-Huawei: enable in Bluetooth connection settings-Xiaomi and some others: enable in Developer Options

10. Why does the volume reset to 50% after powering off / on if it was above 60%?

Some phones have a volume protection feature to prevent potentially harmful high volume upon connection. This is normal phone behavior.

11. Why do the headphones disconnect automatically?

1. If you move out of Bluetooth range for more than about 3 minutes, the headphones will disconnect.

2. A short interruption may occur while the earbuds re-establish their connection, after which they reconnect automatically

1. How long does it take to fully charge the headphones?

"With the headphones at 0% and the charging case at 100%, placing the headphones in the case takes approximately 1 hour to fully charge (tested: 52 min).

With the charging case at 0%, charging the case alone takes approximately 1 hour 40 minutes to fully charge (tested: 98 min). When both headphones and case are at 0%, charging them together takes approximately 2 hours for both to be fully charged (tested: ~2h 15min)."

2. How to know when charging is complete?
