Suunto M-9/Black/Black/NH with velcro strap

Tried and true classic.

I've used this model of compass for over 35 years, starting when I was in the military, before GPS was an option. I used it for land navigation in numerous countries with very satisfactory results.
After retiring, I've continued using it during deer hunts in thick swamps where roads are more than miles away. This compass is always on my wrist whenever I am in the northern woods or swamp.
This latest version has changed from my last one as the new one has a large red arrow on the face whereas the older version had 2 black lines.
I have no doubt the new version will be just as rugged and accurate as my still serviceable older model.

It was a gift for my son. He loves it.

Great quality for a backup compass. I think everyone should keep a dedicated one on their body, but a wrist one is a great backup and SUUNTO knocked this one out of the park.

As a surveyor, this is such a useful tool!
